My truck is shit

Hey guys quick question for ya. Have any of you after filling your truck up with fuel got a check engine light? I just filled up and went home, the check engine light came on and I connected to it with my scan tool. Code p2400 was found and it is for the fuel evap system. Now I find it weird that it would happen right after I filled up and I am trying to narrow down the actual cause of the problem. Have any of you experienced this?

Me neither but apparantly it does according to my scan tool. Not sure what good an evap does on a diesel anyway.
