My 2016 1500 is in the shop for the umpteenth time. Took it in because I was seeing a steady drop in miles/gal fuel economy. The dealer is saying that because I have a K&N filter in the air box it maybe causing the problem. Has anyone out there ever came across this problem. It’s been less than 10K miles since I put the filter in

Does it still have the stock egr and swirl valves? thought I read here that carbon buildup can cause the mileage to drop?

There is no correlation between your K & N air filter and a drop in mileage unless it is incredibly filthy.
