The only thing the Dealer has to do to my truck is install the replacement EGR cooler when they have them, mine is just fine but it's coming one of these days. My question is if anyone knows for sure, when the EGR cooler is replaced do they reflash the ECM?, I have a tune, and a few things added...
When I installed my SofaKing Tune I was told you can use distilled water rather than DEF. My DEF was at about 1/3 rd of a tank, I filled it up with distilled water, took about 2 gallons drove it maybe 50 miles or so went to start it I get a CEL, and a message "wrong DEF fluid detected contact...
I think I will be removing the sound foam from my Ecodiesel, I would like to remove it neatly so if for some odd reason I want to reinstall it I can, the sound gain if any is of no concern I doubt it will add much, just looking for a tip or two from someone who has done it
