I am having trouble getting the auto start to start further than a couple car lengths away. Figured it would work across the parking lot like my wife’s Acadia. I’ve already replaced the key fob batteries. Anything else I should look at?

Just picked up the truck and have the button on my drivers door that has the folding mirror picture. When you press it nothing happens.
I do have the tow mirrors that rotate, but didn’t think that it would effect the power fold.
Thoughts/guidance before I take it in. Only mine for 24 hours...
Just got it yesterday! Black/green exterior, rides beautifully, 22,400 miles on it. Ready to enjoy it. I ha e some questions I’ll post in the appropriate areas.
