Hi. New to the site. 2014 Eco with 184000 Klms. Trouble free so far. Worried about the soot from egr in oil oil for bearing ware. Any thoughts.

Welcome! IMO the soot should be of less concern than the coolant that the egr can potentially dump into the intake and find itself into the block/oil. If you are changing your oil at recommended intervals you should be okay. Best bet is to delete the egr and roll on with your truck!
