Hi all;

Retired Canadian who always admired the Ram. Anything I shoud know about this vehicle that the salesman "forgot" to mention?

I have a 2014 with 282000+ km on it. Love the truck. I had the EGR and DEF removed in August. Should have done it when I bought the truck. Better fuel consumption and power. Will be towing my travel trailer into BC this week for the first time since the delete. Looking forward to see how it handles the mountains.

My 2014 has 180k km and runs well. Had GDE do a hot tune about 2 years ago, which has been great. Have towed our 32' trailer since new; last trip was to Florida and worked very well through the Tennessee mountains (3:92 rear end). Just received (Oct.1) a safety recall W58 Loss of Crank Position; highly recommend you get this done. I was left stranded on the QEW two years ago; three weeks and $3k later I got my truck back. Nonetheless, my original intention of driving this for a long time yet (I'm 69) remains. Less than $US200 to drive one way to Florida (without trailer), about $US500 with trailer, with diesel about $US2.80 - 3.00/gal. Big fan of ecodiesel!
