I recently purchased a 76,000 mile 2014 Tradesman ED. I was able to get a bumper to bumper warranty. I am going to be using this truck to drive up and down the highway for my sales job. What do I need to look for and watch for with the engine. I understand it has a few miles on it for a 14'. I also do not want to get into a situation where I am in Eastern Oregon on a sales call and the whole truck dies on me. I am trying to read what I can about what to watch specifically however any words of advice would be great. SO far (knock on wood) the truck has been amazing. What I am interested in is maybe taking the truck into the dealership and have them double check on......... while I have the amazing warranty I purchased. Thanks again.

I would start by getting an oil analysis each oil change. After a couple you can start trending and hopefully get a heads up if something maybe going wrong. Other than that, take care of it.. keep the oil, fuel, air filters change and it should treat you good!

Thanks BoostN (admin). I have had a few trucks. First Diesel. I am trying to learn quickly about the system. Thought this would be a great place to start.
