2016 1500 eco diesel
Lost my green fuel cap today. This evening my check engine light came on? Coincidence or cap problem?

thoughts?

Coincidence, the RAM 1500 is designed for the fuel door to be the cap. the green plastic cap is nothing, however you can by a cool magnetic cap in lots of places for the fuel and DEF

Now obviously I have the engine light on with out and type message. Guess I’m gonna run it by the diesel shop to see what that code says. Sorta crazy.
