We have a 2014 Ram eco that came in originally with codes for the DEF heater inside the tank and a P229E NOx sensor problem. Replace the complete DEF tank assembly with a factory dodge part. Same with the rear NOx sensor. We cleaned the DEF injector and the area it mounts. We located the power wire for the def tank relay, it was worn through from rubbing on the body. The wire was completely separated and had corrosion. We repaired the wire and tested for power at the relay - we had power.
No more codes but the vehicle still has the countdown to no restart. We brought the vehicle back in to see if the line from the def tank to the injector was clear. There seemed to be a blockage, so we blew it out. There was little to no DEF in the line.
I am thinking there is another bad wire but I haven't found one yet.......
