I want to drain 1 QT. of fluid out of the trans. pan so I can add 1 QT. of TSE from Hot Shot's Secret, Stiction remover. How easy is it to drain 1 QT. and stop when needed?

There's no fill neck where you can suck it out and the drain pan has a plug and once you remove it the fluid will flow. Might be difficult to get the plug back in without a major mess and unlikely to stop at 1 quart.

On another note I see no reason to add any additives that will potentially do nothing but void the warranty.

i believe we have a 5yr 100,000 mile power train warranty, so you are covered there, i had a trans service done on our 2014 chry 300 same type of trans filter and fluid, and had the dealer add a trans additive i bought and it stated it would not void warrant, service manager agreed with me and added it with the the fluid, although he did not believe it would help, and i was wasting my money ,but it was my money (peace of mind)
