Electronic Throttle Control ETC with SFT

SFT tune no code just service electronic throttle control came on. So far I cleaned the MAP sensor and no luck . I’m going to do a smoke test next to see if there is any leaks. Truck has been running great since the tune(stage 2) a few months ago. Occasionally I would notice when I turned it on it would show that light but quickly turn off and work fine(seemed like a weather thing cold). Now all of a sudden it’s on and staying on. I did send SFT an email, waiting on response. Also ordered a MAP sensor and a gas pedal. Both pretty cheap so I figured I’d give it a go and see what happens.

I read all the threads, I do t think there is one I missed on the issue..

Did you remove the tube that goes from the turbo manifold to the egr at the manifold or did you block it off on the top. I blocked mine off on top because I rounded a bolt off of the other end. Then after a few months it broke the tube.

I was going to leave it originally but then went to remove. I read a lot of posts about it cracking so decided to remove it. While removing it I broke one of the them. I put the cover on with 2 bolts and one screw on the broken of bolt. Worked like a charm. So far so good, and moving forward I’ll clean the map sensor every oil change not to have any issues.
