Hacking Limp Mode?

Has anyone found a way to hack out of Limp mode to avoid being obligated to go into the stealership? We have the absolute worst dealerships here in Portland, OR and they use Limp Mode to force you to come in and then charge you 2 or three times what each thing is worth.

The real WITECH tool "microPod II" from mopar is $1850.

I would like to buy the aftermarket Witech tool and "ram" software from http://www.obd2eshop.com/wholesale/...wY3quIWngDvif1_aUDpuzHVV6uRHBGKgaAmGCEALw_wcB for $169 for the port fob plus the software http://www.obd2eshop.com/wholesale/witech-micropod-2-software-320g-hard-disk.html and be able to do my own exhaust system regenerations rather than being forced into their game. Has anyone had any luck with this? 2015 Quad Cab Ecodiesel with Ramboxes.

limp mode caused by EGR valve? Greendieselengineering.com has your solution. here is a pretty cool vid of how a guy solved his troubles in a couple different ways, finally settling on the GDE solution. And yes, you will pass emissions.

Thought OBD2 flash, we here at SFT have been able to get several EcoDiesel vehicles out of limp mode. If it's DEF, SCR related then yes 100% we have been able to fix this with no DTCs (check engine lights). And 0 "vehicle will not restart in 200 miles" etc..messages. All gone!

DPF related, we ARE able to get the vehicle out of limp mode, but we CANNOT remove the message on the EVIC (dash). Great part, vehicle runs great but the message is annoying.

You can either:
1. Reinstall the emissions and force a regen (to clear message)
2. Get dealer to flash over ECU (with emissions present)

This is a sprinter, the handheld can program the ECU on this, but the handheld cannot program the ECU on the EcoDiesel (yet). It's what we use (PG3+) for TCM tuning, soon ECU tuning.

However we can fix the EGR caused limp mode via OBD2. Quick and easy!
