Welcome Jim! Did the dealer do a reflash to fix your issue?

Hi Jim these ecms are very well builts and yes software issues can happen. But they usually happen to more than one person. In your cause you either have an intermittent wiring issue or a bad accelerator pedal position sensor. Hopefully it was a fluke and wont return but if it does start with checking the wiring out closely. Then scope the apps sensor and make sure there is no dead spots.

Thanks for the info. I am hopeful that the condition won't reappear as the warranty expires in a few months.
