Hi members!
I am currently gathering information in preparation for decision to purchase 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie Longhorn 3.0 L Diesel with 30,600 from Lithia Dodge Ram Corpus Cristi Tx.

The vehicle will replace a 2003 Ford F150 and 2005 Honda CRV. Otherwise combining for pulling 6,500 lb Hi Lo trailer, running new grand children around, and updating for reliability.

The question open in the information gathering is: how may a buyer of a Ram diesel validate the software code has been updated as approved by EPA settlement?

Welcome! Any updates to the computer can be validated by the dealer. The history will be attached to the vin, and if nothing else they can also flash the latest and greatest software.
