Looking to buy a good obd2

I’m looking to buy a good scanner for my truck to clear codes. I don’t want to get stuck on the highway because of the dumb electronic throttle control. Any advice will help. And maybe it’s a good idea too to have one that will inform me for regens. I have yet to see anything on my dash about a high percentage rate ever for soot.. I’m at 65000 miles now

However, I never used it on a EcoDiesel. CTS hooked up for that. It did work well on a Duramax for what it's worth. It will clear codes fine for any OBD 2 enabled truck (like the EcoDiesel).

I use the Torque Pro app for iOS along with that reader.. Forgot to mention.
