Need Help Transmission wiring harness

I’m hoping someone can help me in answering compatibility question on the Ram Ecodiesel Transmission Wiring Harness. I own a 2015 Ecodiesel and my harness melted from a clogged CAT/DPF system, warranty will cover that emissions items but not the harness. Dealer wants 3000.00 for just the part. I found one from a 2014 Ecodiesel but the part number is different on the original a harnesses, but all of those original numbers have been discontinued and now the transmission harness ends in AF says it’s compatible 2014-2019. My question is will a original 2014 harness work on my 2015 ram. Everything else about the trucks match other then the year

I’d assume as long as you have the same trans and t case if 4wd it would be the same. Part numbers change as the years go on so it could just be a wire color change or something simple
