I ordered a new fuel filter from Amazon and it came with the packaging completely destroyed, hard to tell if the filter was crushed so I sent it back. I also noticed that it looked very different so I just decided not to trust it.
I went to the dealer today to buy one and they had the same style as I had been sent on my Amazon order. It has external plastic ribs over the filter but also is a little bit shorter and only 4 tabs to lock it in place as opposed to 8.
Just out of curiosity I asked the parts guy if we could look at another one and it was the old style.
Probably not a big deal but has anyone else seen this new style?
