new to the Forum , i own a 2014 fully loaded ecodiesel . 220000km currently . have owned it three years and added 60000km . got it fully deleted right away . no issues until two weeks ago when engine would start but not rev , reluctor wheel failed . Dealer was useless couldn't repair for two weeks so i repaired it myself . tranny can be pulled back just far enough to get access . probably took 8 - 9 hours . left harness and plumbing attached . left transfer case on . disconnected shafts at axles and slid back. I bought my ecodiesel knowing they have issues , same engine in europe seems trouble free . i'm originally from europe , i'm a self employed diesel mechanic , 56 years old. I run Valvoline supreme diesel 05 / 40 , add friction modifier every oil change . 10000km services . Pull a service trailer everyday , i do not drive like i'm in a race , but its not pampered either . If i can help anyone out there i will certainly try .
