Radiator flush

Is there any special procedure for changing radiator fluid? When my egr cooler was leaking I used off the shelf radiator fluid and mixed it with the purple Oem fluid. The mechanic told me over time being mixed it will turn and create something like concrete. I want to flush and fill it but haven’t found anything about doing it to ge Ecodiesel

Use OAT coolant only if you mix it with HOAT it form sludge overtime. The best thing you could do is have a shop with a coolant exchange machine do the service.

I would remove thermostat, flush with water, than install new OEM thermostat. DON'T
use old thermostat. add high quality antifreeze. than open a beer and think of all the money you saved.
