My 2018 Ecodiesel engine seized at 49K miles last Saturday on a trip to Tallahassee Fl. Had truck towed to Tallahassee dealer. Service advisor says 1100 of these engines are on back order nationwide and it may be months before my truck is repaired.

1100!!! You sure it’s not 110? Mine broke down 2 years ago at the beginning of Covid. Had to wait 2 months because Italy was in lockdown.

I think Ram needs to consider replacing these stranded Ram drivers with the latest generation ecodiesel to get people on the road again.

I ordered on for my truck, and at the time there were 650 on back order. They were only producing about 25-30 a Month and so I finally got it 6 months later!
