My trailer brakes went out the other day. When I hooked up the trailer to the truck all lights worked but truck is saying there's no trailer brake connected.
When I had my 2004 5.9 sometimes the brakes on the trailer would pop a fuse. But I can't seem to locate a trailer brake fuse. I did check the other fuses related to the trailer. All were good. I've checked the trailers wiring and harness and everything is in working order.
