What owning an ECOdiesel has meant for me.

@Older Slower Wiser - I can echo your sentiments a bit although my ownership 2015 experience has been excellent. I too did some "research" (at least what I thought was research) before I bought my truck. If I remember correctly the first 3 years so the 3.0 was winning engine and truck of the...

    Difference between gen1 v gen3 ecodiesel

You cannot put a 20+ motor in a 2016 RAM w/o MAJOR modifications, as far as I know it has not been successfully done yet. As far as a rebuild goes it appears parts are very hard to source.

Just letting you know if you really did your research you would know that SKT has a lot of problems the last few years with customer service. A wise ecodiesel owner would take a close look at the EPA compliant Green Diesel Engineering Tune or the MR Tuning from Ecodiesel of Canada.

    Front leveling (removing rack)

I had 1.25 inch spacers installed on my 2015. I believe did it in 2016. I have had no issues whatsoever. I don't really do any off-roading but I do tow a 6600 lb. travel trailer frequently.

    5w20 vs 15w20

It was my understanding that the MS-12991 was for the Gen 3, 2020 and newer Ecodiesels. The recommendation for 2014 -2019 is MS-10902. I am far from an oil guy though! https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10218515-9999.pdf

Completely untrue, the dealer did not put a new engine in because the HPFP did not fit. Either your dealer lied or you misunderstood.

Class Action Law Suits over High Pressure Fuel Pump

Sorry but it is just you, there is no conspiracy to flash your ECM. Also, your ECM does not need to be updated for the new HPFP pump although they would quite likely check that your vehicle has the latest software, much like any IT person working on any computer.

Class Action Law Suits over High Pressure Fuel Pump

What is the E46 recall? If you are referring to the HPFP recall how would a full delete effect that?

CEL and Service Electronic Throttle Control Message, Limp Mode But No Codes??

Thank you for that info, definitely food for thought! I have seen the braided hose you are talking about and it looks like a high quality piece that will give years of service!

CEL and Service Electronic Throttle Control Message, Limp Mode But No Codes??

I had it done at the local dealer. The total cost was $1700.00 I believe. The only other thing I really worry about is the coolant line under the intake manifold. I may get an estimate on that too.
