    Post Emissions Delete

I started posting about our emissions delete in the EGR Cooler leaking thread. However, that didn't seem like the place to write about it. My hubby and I bought an Ecodiesel to replace my Subaru that just couldn't handle driving into 40-60mph gusts on a daily basis - and I don't blame it. We...

    EGR Cooler leaking

We simply replaced the O-ring and then drove 800 miles and didn't have any leaking coming from the EGR. So that seemed to work for us. The dealer was not too happy about doing it...but the simple fix seemed to be all that was needed.

    EGR Cooler leaking

The truck is running great. The EGR is blocked at the intake manifold, and exhaust system with plates. The kit we used also had a plate and plug for the EGR coolant lines. All that is left of the factory exhaust is the stock muffler and tailpipes. The GDE tune really made a big difference in how...

    EGR Cooler leaking

We successfully completed our full emissions delete today at 47k. We got the optimization tune from GDE and pipes from FlowPro and a CFT stage 2 EGR delete kit. Totally worth the 8-9 hours of shop time, cut fingers, coolant baths, and one giant bump on hubby’s noggin. We learned a lot doing this...

    New to all things truck

Ok, I thought it should be a really smooth ride and that this bumping and lurching couldn't possibly be normal. Flashing the TCU is a good idea. The transmission is on the list of things to check up on, once we recoup a bit from this emissions business. Hopefully a flash will correct the...

    New to all things truck

The big problem is a egr/coolant leak and this weird lurching that we can't pin down. It always happen as the truck is shifting. My hubby and I were debating if it's normal for it to lurch, my stance was no it's not, and hubby said it was just me not being used to a normal transmission (since my...

    New to all things truck

I'm new; not only to this forum but also to truck ownership! I sent my Subaru to heaven, and decided to replace it with a 2015 Ecodiesel - because that makes a whole lot of sense, right? Well it does if you've always wanted a truck, but couldn't stomach the low fuel mileage because you commute...

    EGR Cooler leaking

I don't really have anything to contribute, other than to say that I'm really glad to hear this is happening to others (as awful as that sounds) - the ecodeisel isn't popular here yet, and I thought I had bought a lemon since there was no one to compare problems with! I bought a used 2015 with...
