You can get the delete kit from Ebay, or Amazon for about $100.00. Then you will need to send out your ECM to get it reprogrammed. I found a guy on Ebay out of Canada who did mine, I shipped it to him he programmed it and shipped it back. I also found the stainless steal turbo to muffler...
If a person bought a new ECM and had it programmed, swapping back for warranty issues would be rather easy. As far as the legal standpoint, Not really sure how that would go. I'm not a lawyer. If you don't have emission testing required in your area, not sure anyone would ever know you deleted...
Has no one done a full delete on their Eco-diesel? I have seen kits for it online, and places that offer a reprogramming service for the ECM. Seems like that would take care of all the problems of the EGR,DEF, and Regen. Just curious?
Thanks for the update, I am debating on doing the AEM or not on my 2016. I may just do it, get the rebate, then trade it in on a 3/4 Diesel or a new 2020 Eco-diesel. Best of luck in your endeavors.
