Try road active suspension

Just had my HPFP replaced at the dealership. For free. My fuel economy seems to be dropping.

Wasn’t the truck covered under warranty. That is less than 100K miles. But over 5 years, I guess?

They replaced mine a week ago. Seems to run great so far. Really seems to run better. But I think it runs better after washing it. Didn’t cost anything for a new fuel pump. What a deal. mine is a 2020 limited.

I guess everyone takes those that new to the dealer.

I’ve always thought the plastic burning smell was the smell of a regen.

Mine 2020 3.0 holds 8.5 quarts.

I’m still curious as to how I can check suet levels or how i can tell when you truck is in regen mode. Not real keen on how one can test engine oil for contaminants?

Posts refer to seeing the percentage of filter blockage. Or knowing when the engine is performing a regen. How do you know when your engine is doing a regen and how much soot is clogging your system?

If the battery cable is arching like that. It is enough to destroy all the microcircuits in the entire truck. Are you disconnecting the negative cable? A spark from your finger after walking across a dry carpet will destroy a computer motherboard.

My dealer told me they are replacing the eco-diesel fuel pump with the same pump used in the larger engine. He said the pumps are not available yet.

Wish I could do that with Ram boxes.

My dealer (mechanic) said they are going to use the same pump that the Cummins uses. Don’t know if this is true?
