It doesn't really seem like you are here to help out owners, looks more like you are here to complain and be negative towards them. This isn't the only forum or place of information on the internet. It takes a long time for companies like FCA to release the information about what causes failures...

    Hello everyone

I think you miss read what I said, the sound you’re hearing sounds just like predestination. The sound is the same because diesels don’t combust like a gasoline engine diesel use compression and heat to detonate the fuel, the faster it’s ramped up the more noise it makes. It’s normal, and there...

This information comes directly from fca as reason for failures, same with the changes to the new engine. We have also took a part a large pile of these ecodiesel engines and found the same issue with every single one of the ones we took part. My entire business is based 100% on the ecodiesel...

Oil bypass spring + plastic cap

In other performance worlds we delete the bypass and just change oil at the correct mileage. Deleting the bypass causes oil pressure to be slightly higher and prevents unfiltered oil from ever entering the engine. I have an extra housing in my shop so I'm going to look into deleting mine.

How to avoid soot buildup and other problems 2015 Laramie 1500 4x4

CFT oil catch can will help prevent oil from lining your intake manifold, this is the main culprit to having soot stick on the inside of the manifold itself.

Engine makes a loud ticking sound

More then likely what you're running into is what we call diesel or injection rattle, it sounds similar to predetonation on a gasoline engine, if that is in fact what it is, it is not harmful to your engine it is more or less just annoying when you're used to such a quiet engine.

    Hello fellow ecodiesel owners..

GDE no longer does the type of tuning that you need done, but I do and a few other companies. I highly recommend you check out the forums for quality info and the youtube reviews for all of the companies, careful with facebook and other places of gossip.

lift and 34" tires cost me about 5-6 mpg

Proper tuning with delete can get that back, I have one customer with 9" of lift and 37s averaging 22 in california.
