I had that problem on my 18 at about 30k. Dealer did a computer update to fix it. No trouble since. Btw, i cleaned my map sensor for the first time and it was not clogged up at all. All stock, oil changes 7500 or less. Monthly trips of 180 miles at freeway speeds. Otherwise rural driving.
Not at all. You have an established rapport with the service manager and i don't. I will gladly tag along rather than take my chances. My selling dealer is jack Powell, but I've never been back? So far I've done all my service. Additionally, there is power in numbers....thanks
Banks improves performance and more than likely the engine runs cleaner as a result. Banks has been around a long time and makes quality products that are legal.
2018 with 9000 miles. Ive done two oil and filter changes already! No problems, great truck so far. The oil has been as high as 230 on long grades and im considering removing some shutters.
I would love to hear about the bypass filter and how it is installed. Pictures would be awesome. Have you had an oil analysis done since you installed the filter? Thanks
Does anyone have any experience with the bypass oil filter systems for our trucks? If so, please share your results and the brand you used, how long you have used it, etc. It would seem to be a smart way to keep soot out of our oil for those who cannot legally do a tune or delete. Any experience...
