Yikes. That's a bummer on it already. Welcome to the forum. Great peeps and great info here. The fuel pump.... Do you let it get under a ¼ tank? I've heard this is really hard on the pumps in these trucks. Tuning is a great option to alleviate some of the "unknown" that could be coming.
Welcome to the forum! I love my ED and feel like it would be worth fixing. It does things so much better than the Hemi did. I average 27 combo driving, closer to 30-32 on the highway and 16-18 towing my camper. With the Hemi I would be lucky to see double digits towing.... Looking to delete in...
Yes. There are a couple ways to do it. A lot of Indy shops can clone keys (that's how ours is) otherwise if you have AlphaOBD or know someone with it you can program a key.
Hi! So a tune is a GREAT help to these engines! I am fully updated through Chrysler and then added the stage 1 tune from EOC. It drives A LOT like my 2011 Hemi did (aside from the 8 speed... feels like it shifts a lot). After I did all my updates I gained a 48k/4 year warranty, but am still...
At 6" I don't think you need to replace the front driveshaft although it will be stressed at the angle it will be running. I'm sure some others will chime in.
Haha! Wow sorry there weren't any responses. Glad you got it figured out. FASS is a very common aftermarket install so this could certainly help someone out in the future. As I was reading along I was going to guess a drain back issue, but the loose fitting also makes sense. Glad it's all...
Welcome to the forum! Sounds like the truck should serve you well. I am debating hard at 108,000 miles deleting. I too however have a warranty from the recent update until like 152k miles.... Think I might try to keep as much together as possible in case I need to take it in for anything. I have...
It depends on what you're really after. EcodieselOwnersCanada using MRTuning, SofaKing, and I believe HDDiesel are all handheld units. You copy your stock file and email it to them; they make the adjustments (tuning) and email the file back to you. You load the tune onto the handheld unit and...
Welcome to the forum! There is a lot to read on here but your best bet is get a tune for sure. There are some less expensive options too if that is really all you're after. Enjoy!
