Makes since. I do 10k on my 6.7s that work hard. My daily 6.7 15k or so. OA on those are stellar.

While Im waiting to pull the trigger to on tuning and deletes. Will a earlier oil change help at all? 7,000 miles?

Well got the truck back yesterday with new engine! Running perfectly. Clean cab off job. It turned out to be the #3 cylinder main bearing was shot . Sounds like same as what others have seen. They gave a new 100k powertrain warranty . So the turn around was about 3 weeks, not to bad.

As some of you already know. My 2018 had died just after 18000 miles. New engine being installed now. Had 5w-40 full syn since day 1.

If I can get about 3 years out of it since I purchased it I'll be happy. I'll move it on after that. So 2021. Real shame though. Mileage is great. Does the tuning help with longevity?

I still have every confidence in the ED. No engine mods were done on mine. Though I had thought about it. I guess in this case its good I hadn't. I'll keep updated as I find out.
