Turbo Vane sensor A not reading.

I have just finished replacing the lovely engineered turbo coolant line. I did not have any codes or a check engine light before the repair. I did take the intake manifold off and such to perform the repair. I think I may have forgotten to plug i sensor but I looked online and couldn’t find much...

    Boost pressure issue

My issue was a mix of an exhaust leak, restrictive air filter, and a few minor charge pipe leaks. I have sense fixed all but the air filter and with my tests with a less restrictive filter it runs like a dream.

    Boost pressure issue

For anybody curious on what AFE power said: I suggested that they might add a aftermarket solution for the plastic pipe that bridges from the turbo to the lower hot side pipe as there were many people searching for a solution. Who knows maybe they’ll come out with one.

    Boost pressure issue

That’s awfully convenient. I attempted to seal the leak temporarily. I’m going to reach out to AFE and see if I can have something custom ordered if not I’ll see if a local fabricator can make something.

    Boost pressure issue

I looked at my charge piping and this (picture below) is the only one I could see had a leak. It’s the plastic pipe that runs from the turbo flange to the AFE pipe (as pictured). I’m curious if you or anybody else knows of a non plastic one I could purchase I would rather have metal over plastic...

    Boost pressure issue

I’m not sure if I mentioned it but I have a AFE hot side charge pipe unless you’re meaning the junk plastic piece that connects to the turbo or the fitting on my intercooler

    Boost pressure issue

When you put it that way it makes a lot of sense. Hopefully it’s something as simple as that.

    Boost pressure issue

Before I had it tuned it was thrown into limp mode and had the under boost code, service electronic throttle, and the various emissions codes. I thought they were all emissions related but I am second guessing that now. The only parts changed on the engine is a AFE hot side charge pipe, K&N air...

    Boost pressure issue

I have assumed a boost leak would be constant no matter the boost pressure? My issue only occurs under higher boost which is why I thought maybe my waste gate was opening but I could be wrong.

    Boost pressure issue

I have just recently had my 2017 eco diesel tuned and deleted from Mr.tunning out of Canada. The tune itself works great but once I get into the throttle a sort of whooshing noise can be heard and the truck loses all boost and most of its power. If you let off the throttle until the whooshing...

    Odd backfire sounding noise

I have a 2017 ecodiesel once it reaches about 2,000 RPM and anything above it sounds kind of like it’s backfiring and lots of black smoke pours out the tailpipe. I seen on my EzLynk it shuts the turbo veins down and throws an under boost code but Once the codes are cleared and the veins are back...
