It’s 150000 km . Dealership is replacing engine .. and there are 12 more trucks before me sitting in dealership for same reason. Wait time for engine is three months .
I have ecodiesel ram 1500 ,2015 , it stopped accelerating while I was Driving and when I pulled over it said low file pressure, towed to dealership and they say engine should be replaced .. don’t know what quality of engines they are putting.

I have Ram 1500 ecodiesel. I had same issue. My dealer took to the workshop and they had to order a special tool to change the plug. It was not a long process but needs a kind tool which everyone does not carry.
Yes I figured ... I would try driving it more on highway....
but I wonder , suppose i am not able to drive and it keeps on happening, would it be harmful for the truck ... ?
does high power diesel help?

I just bought 2015 RAM 1500 ecodiesel truck. I don’t know much about the truck but I like it very much. It is showing an indication that exhaust system regeneration in process, Exhaust filter 80 % full.
Should I be concerned about it. Do I need show to mechanic?
