    Thinking About Buying....

Are you always this argumentative when someone makes a post? I am NOT a mechanic or even like working on vehicles, so you would be correct in assuming I have no idea what are cp3, cp4, etc. I am stating that my experience with the ecodiesel has been terrible. I paid $28k for a truck that I got...

    Thinking About Buying....

Read the article which includes what happens to the truck during malfunction. https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/ram-heavy-duty-diesel-trucks-recalled-due-to-stall-risk-a2807060667/

    Thinking About Buying....

I am not comparing the two at all, with exception of the fuel pump problems. There is an active recall on the one used in the heavy duty trucks. It is EXACTLY the same problem.

    Thinking About Buying....

I would pass on the ecodiesel. I have one. Just had to replace the entire fuel system...at a cost of $12k...for what the dealer says is because of bad fuel. My dealer says they do 12-15 of these every month. Coincidentally, it is EXACTLY the same problem for which there is a recall on the heavy...

    Electronic throttle control

Mine came on. Took it to the dealer and had to replace the entire fuel system at the cost of $12k. They said it was bad fuel. Coincidently, there is a recall on the heavy duty diesels for the EXACT same problem.

We all need to keep contacting Stellantis about the fuel pump issue in the ecodiesel. Hopefully they will add it to the recall for the heavy duty trucks. Mine cost me $12k

    Front end shake

I was driving home from work tonight . Everything was fine until coming to a stop at an intersection and I noticed a strange shake in the front end. Kind of felt like driving on the rumble strip but not nearly as rough. On a side note, when leaving for work, I turned the key and the starter just...

    Regen issue

OK, got the code cleared. Regen still won't start.

    Regen issue

I have a 2016 Ram ecodiesel. As I was driving, the 80% alert came on. I was just pulling into my driveway so I was going to drive it out later to correct it. Upon re-entering the truck, I noticed the alert was gone but the check engine light was on. I read that it will not regen when the engine...
