    Heater Problem

    I was hoping somebody else in the blog would know where it’s located, but in the past when the sensor gets dirty, it could give you false temp indications to control the automatic, heating air conditioning temperature. I would be careful about how you clean it as to not damage the sensor I think...

    As it turns out, that code was generated by the map sensor. It occurs every six months and all I have to do is clean the map sensor.

    Clean your back up, camera disconnect, quick disconnect, connectors and add dielectric grease to the connections.

    MAP output failing

    Clean the MAP sensor. Use a can of MAF sensor cleaner. Don’t unplug the sensor. Just one screw holds it in place. Clean it. Clear all codes.

    I get 10.3 L per hundred or 23 miles per gallon. My truck is a 2017 with 70,000 km on it.
