No the water pump and the 3 way valve started leaking, dealer wants 3280.00 to repair with factory oem parts.... I have a local diesel mechanic that will repair signifantly cheaper, and i'm going with a gates water pump.... and then getting rid of the p.o.s. and getting a toyota tundra.
In the mean time start putting up utube videos of the vehicle and the damage and what the dealer and FCA are telling people... this needs to be done on a mass of everyone who has had a problem with the truck, then we can make a list of problems, list of people and get a lawsuit filed.
It's NOW time to put up videos on Utube with the type of failure your truck has had... EVERYONE with a failure of any type needs to have it documented and film the truck and the failure...and the cost, what FCA is doing should be illegal, these were never engineered properly in the first place...
It's time to flood utube with a video a day on all the crap FCA is doing to ecodiesel owners...and probably the gas trucks with the fuel management system that eats the lifters ect. Perhaps a few thousand videos everyday would wake up NSHTA and get these problems fixed... everybody paid hard...
Be sure to have them put an upgraded turbo coolant hose, mine just went... the engineers decided to put in a 3 piece with metal banjo fitting on the ends with a rubber piece in the middle.... rubber hose, turbo heat, engine heat, and lets bury it under the intake manifold... just foolish.
