Does anyone know of the Z46 recall and when a fix is coming from Ram 2015 ecodiesel ?

Your post basically said that we shouldn’t worry and that this issue is not really Ram’s responsibility on ECO diesels. It is their responsibility since they issued the recall. It is rediculous to take over a year for some type of resolution. And you can bet that if that part fails on my truck I...

Does anyone know of the Z46 recall and when a fix is coming from Ram 2015 ecodiesel ?

Wow! You must work for RAM. Bottom line is it’s a known reliability issue with enough failures to warrant a recall. It became their responsibility when they issued the recall therefore any issue that arises as a result of a failure of the part is on them. 13 months is more than sufficient time...

    Love my diesel

In 2019 a dealer “found” two 2018 Longhorn diesels in a storage lot and put them on sale. Sticker said $52,500. I walked out at $36,000. I have 60k miles on it and I have never had a problem with the engine. I have pulled trailers, boats and RV’s. Made long trips and short in town runs. I...

New to me 2017 big horn

Sorry I lost it. 1. Those initials may be common to you but not so for owners that aren’t familiar with these engines. 2. As far as googling or investigating I can do that as I do quite often. But I will offer this to you, if your goal is to help us owners then be a little clearer and precise...

New to me 2017 big horn

I have noticed most responses here use initials and abbreviations quite a bit. For us old folks please be clear what you are talking about. We may not be able to physically do the repairs but we want to be informed so we can recognize scams and shoddy work. thanks

    Oil Change Price

First of all I’m not a fool. That price was dropped on me. That dealership has done all of my service since 2019, save one when I was on vacation. I have never paid over $151.00. As far as I know I don’t have a cabin air filter. I’m going to reserve my opinion of this situation until after I...

I just checked and they still have no parts. There is a similar recall on gas models. The Svc. Rep told me they get two pumps every two weeks.
