I hit a deer with my truck a couple days ago. Insurance has deemed it a total loss with a salvage amount of a little over 5k.
I know there are people out there that need new motors.
my truck run great, is not leaking any fluids, has had the def system deleted ( looks like it is still there)

Wondering if I would be able to sell entire truck for a reasonable price.

You have the right to negotiate with insurance if they do not wish to Repair. That's a lot in damage but to "total" they are to pay you fair market value. You won't find one for 5k. Probably 11-15? Put together half a dozen listings of similar vehicles, dealer, marketplace, whatever. Sold or active market listings. My guess is you're going to find the average with your condition and miles a lot higher. This is what insurance owes you to total. Fair market value. Then your buy back amount comes to play.

And unfortunately no, without a complete strip and part out there's no way you will see over 5k on your salvaged chassis. You're talking having to sell interior, box, and every drive train component, months of crap.
