VGT Actuator Test - AlphaOBD

I realize this is an old thread, but does any of this apply to the P0234 (turbo over boost) code as well? Also, would like to know the steps in Alpha OBD to move the actuator if anyone has that info. Thanks

Og and FYI, I DID swap out the actuator, and while it wasn't the source of the problem ,I can confirm it worked fine and didn't require any calibration. So if you ahve a bad actuator and can actually find one used, its s three bolt one plug replacement.

So I have this zero measured actual but actuator moves issue. After replacing, did you get it to show a measured value other than 0?
