Yep and when the 15 was new your manual spec'd euro 5w30, that was revised to 5w40 t6, the Next generation ecodiesel's 2019 or so off the top of my head; was again revised with a tsb recanting t6 for those Gen3 ecodiesel engines due to soot, so the newer guys have a different spec than our Gen 2...

Yea but the new Gen trucks dropped the rotella spec siting soot. So it's no longer the 5w40 favored oil as it was from 2016 on. Just as 5w30 was spec in 2014 and 15 before being altered to t6 5w40

Yeah It's definitely not great but it's just turning wrenches. I'm not looking forward to it again but I haven't had the derate come back yet

Complete exhaust available but not pictured, egr, dosing nozzle, sensors, egt sensors, band clamps etc. Slew of value for anyone with an intact truck, removed at 90k everything was operable. Stored ever since. Bags are fine that I know of; just problems with the compressor valve Body in winters...

If it's not your blower motor in the cab (which it sounds to match the engine) remove the serpentine belt, and spin every pulley by hand to find whatever bearing is out. It could be idler, tensioner, AC compressor, water pump, alternator.

-30, gde, or factory tuned for that matter, there was never a "diesel preheat" message on the eco. And the glow plug light doesn't stay illuminated and cycle like Cummins or powerstroke. It's all passive and like a 5 second cycle. So I'd put money nothing is going on

Mindful most guys have never experienced these starting temps for their diesel's or other vehicles so things sound new

"Rough" is any diesel including the ecodiesel when it's cold and deleted. Just when you have dpf it's all muffled so the rough cold start as cylinders wake up is not noticed near as much as a deleted truck

It's fca side for the ecodiesel, they don't do a full glow plug light and preheat like a hd Truck does. Don't worry

There's an air line. No coil spring so once the line is off and the strut is unbolted you just compress it and pull it out.

Ya I wrote this up a few months back, and there's a uTube on it; can drop the transmission and do it from the backside. Plus gives free Access to the 50$ tone wheel for the crank position sensor that Delaminates after about 100k. Bet it was roomy without the cab though

Shed weight at ~80-90k, have like 208 now. Have had the tone wheel which is unrelated, and had to replace a Turbo for failed vgt. Couple glow plugs, change oil with T6 at the ~9500 intervals. It's an old gde tune no longer available but I wouldn't expect any issues from the Canadian companies...

Air and fuel Filters unless you have codes. They aren't "quick", but shouldn't feel gutless.

I've got a good vgt actuator on the shelf, it kinda sucks but you can do it from on top of the engine. Just pop off the e clip and linkage, then it's a few 10mm. As to the module for it I'm not sure. None of that should be powered circuits from exhaust sensors, in my opinion anyway.

Well Dodge did my tone wheel at 116k; I did it again myself in the garage when I replaced Turbo at 196, one of the torque converter bolts were barely hand tight on removal so their techs aren't perfect either.. I'd get a fresh bolt myself from the hardware store, nothing special it's just graded...
