My 14 has always been a pig to start when we go up to Mammoth lakes in the winter. If its less than 20 degrees i have to park in the garage and block heat. When it won't start it throws every code the truck has including low oil pressure.
Took a couple extra days because of an issue within the shop but I have a brand new chicken under the hood and was only down for two weeks.
They said it was rod bearing failure.
I'm still a happy customer.
Started with a little knock, tried to get into dealer but backed up. Low oil pressure warning and a louder knock and they find time to look at it.
Service writer says they are going to replace short block.
Fingers crossed.
