Who has a 2020 eco? Any issues yet?

Just over 24000 miles on our 2020 2WD Laramie which replaced a 2014 with nearly 250000 miles. So far the only issues have been the occasional sluggish acceleration that there have noted, which my dealer tells me there is now a TSB to address that issue. And occasional shut down and rebooting...

Who has a 2020 eco? Any issues yet?

We picked up our 2020 in May replacing a 2014 ED that had 238000 miles on it. So far we have about 14000 miles on the new truck. I occasionally get a light vibration felt most in steering wheel. Every once in a while it is really sluggish when cold, dealer could not find any issues. Any this...

HI. It does not have the region messaging or engine breaking. Never felt I needed either feature

    Reluctor wheel

It appears there will be a recall of some vehicles. We did not have any problems with our 2014 over the 238000 miles we had it. Interesting that the fix is a software change that uses the cam position sensor as a backup should the tome wheel fail.

Who has a 2020 eco? Any issues yet?

I replaced my 2014 ED that was north of 235000 miles with a 2020 Laramie ED. The new truck is better in many ways. Just shy of 10000 miles now and zero issues so far. Headlights are vastly improved over previous truck. Overall performance is equal or better. I'm guessing overall fuel...

I think EGR is chocking my truck to death - 2014 Ram EcoDiesel

The truck is back at dealer to address the P2002 code that came on shortly after the EGR repairs. I already have the extended warranty which is good as it covered the EGR repairs which FCA refused to cover (almost $2700). Definitely going to go with GDE tune as soon as I can.

average MPG towing with the ecodiesel

Saved a big sum with those trips and other towing trips too. Covered somewhere around 23K in towing since getting the ED. Running back & forth to work empty I'm consistently 21-23 which is a lot better than the 14-15 of the Tundra for same trip. On the highway the Tundra never hit 20 mpg even...

average MPG towing with the ecodiesel

Last Spring I did a round trip from SC to CA and back towing an 18 ft. open car trailer with car on it. Routinely running 70-75 mph. Trip average by hand calc was a touch over 22 mpg. Last summer I did a similar trip towing a 24 ft enclosed car trailer with car in it. That checked in at...

Exhaust Filter 100% AND Service ETC

My truck did the 100% filter warning, then set Service ETC message and indicator warning. It also set codes and warnings for no DEF even though tank was nearly full. Shortly thereafter it went into limp mode not going past 2nd gear or 2200 rpm. Then the mileage count down to no restart for low...

I think EGR is chocking my truck to death - 2014 Ram EcoDiesel

Hi. New to this eco diesel forum. My 2014 ED had a catastrophic EGR related failure that began with some of your symptoms. Started to run poorly at times, lacking throttle response as if not changing down a gear or lacking boost. Various codes were set, including P0401, P1296, P1297. On way...
