By the way I’m at 104,000 and going strong. 💪

I was able to put mine in myself. But I fill them in the back through a threaded type of valve stem in my license plate. Do some research and get the highest capacity available. Mine are older and can only hold about 30 lbs of pressure maximum. Good luck

I’m sorry I don’t remember if you said you have the heavy duty tow package and a3.92 rear axle. But that’s also the maximum and I don’t think it’s a great idea to be at your maximum

    Transmission

Sorry to hear that. A couple of years ago mine did the same thing and long story short it became a new transmission. Fortunately I was still under warranty. Good luck 🍀

    Transmission temperature range

Just curious what kind of temperature range everyone is experiencing at 65-75 towing or mt. Thanks 🙏

Hi all. I’m MoparLarryAK. Retired. Love Mopars.

GOOD NEWS FOR EVERYONE WAITING FOR A NEW HPFP. I called my dealer in Carlsbad Ca on Monday to check on the status of the replacement pump and the replay was WHEN CAN YOU BRING IT IN. So yesterday I was able to get my pump replaced. I was told the new pumps are now available 👍

I have a Laramie with the tow package and 3.92 rear end. I get between 13-15 mpg at 65 mph.

I actually run around 25lbs in my air bags. The only thing I noticed was my transmission temperature on long pulls will get up to about 220 degrees

It would be in the options part and I can’t read it. Make sure and use the tow haul mode when you are towing

That’s supposed to be the maximum so be careful what you load in your trailer. Keep it evenly spread and travel with minimal water and fill up the water at your destination.

Also do you have the trailer package on your truck? And what gear ratio do you have 3.55or3.92?

Ok your trailer has 660lbs of tongue weight and is about 6000lbs empty that’s pretty heavy. Keep in mind you can only carry about another 700 pounds or so without being at your maximum capacity.

Maybe a sway control like this also how much tongue weight does your trainer have? It adds to your trucks cargo capacity along with the hitch and your passengers. Hope this helps

If you haven’t done so already a set of air bags in the rear springs really helps when you’re towing. I have a 2017 with 95,000 and we pull a 2013 22’ Forest River all the time and it does a great job 👏
