I had a simple problem with low oil pressure. It turns out my oil filter was not seated properly. I lubed the threads and reseated the filter and the pressure went up to normal
My 2020 Laramie. At 25,000 miles had a fuel pressure sensor go bad. At 43,000 miles have a DPF sensor malfunction. Dealer says this is covered but only up to 50,000 miles.
I mean the third gen VM motor (3.0 liter is what you meant) started in 2020 and has a good track record so far. The puking in 2014,was earlier version motor.
I had the same issue on my 2020 Eco diesel. The problem was that I hadn’t lubed up the oil filter and it wasn’t fully seated. Reseated it and pressure goes from 20-70 psi
2020 Gen 3 with 15,000 miles. Got Low oil pressure warning today leaving gas station. Drove 1/2 block and stopped. Called for a tow truck. After 3 hours wait for truck, started back up- normal oil pressure. Drove to dealer 10 miles away. He’s supposed to check it out in the morning. Fingers crossed
