Bought truck in may2021,engine seized in Aug 2021..FCA will not honor warranty because truck came from CANADA??FCA.CA..will not honor warranty because it's now housed in USA.

I agree..I bought a 2018 Ram 1500 may2021 by August engine seized died on side of road 58,000 miles on it have been through he'll last yr trying to get an engine replaced live in NH.because truck came from Canada USA will not honor warranty
You are lucky FCAis replacing it last yr I bought a 2018 eco diesel 1500.
I assumed was still under warranty come to find out the truck came from Canada and the paperwork was not transfered to USA BOUGHT it may..engine seized in Aug I have been almost a yr trying to get some kind of resolution...
They told me it came from New Brunswick..but never disclosed the factory warranty would be void..I was told by a guy at corporate office in auburn hills ,Michigan whomever brought the truck to USA didn't transfer the paperwork,with the truck
Wen the engine seized,I didn't know wat happened..had a diagnostic done..should be under factory warranty..but because it came from Canada..USA won't honor the warranty..Canada won't honor it because now it's registered in ..usa..sounds like a bunch of BS..to me..I've tried everything to resolve...
