I have an EcoDiesel 3.0 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has just over 90000 miles. Should I be concerned in adding Stiction Eliminator on my next oil change? I heard a podcast where the individual added Stiction Eliminator and it lead to gaskets leaking. Has this happened to anyone else?
Mine takes about 15-20 miles at 75 mph to work itself down from 90% to all clear. It will show the percentage every 10% until it gets to 30%. After that it just shows the process was completed. I have a 2018 eco diesel 1500.
Does anyone know if your exhaust filter needs to be cleaned out by a diesel mechanic shop and how often. Is this something that a lead person can do or does it need special tools?
