As some have mentioned Jan 2024 Mopar has produce more ecodiesel engines for those who have failures or multiple failure. I finally got my 2018 jeep ecodiesel back from dealership today in Jan 2024. Just to review crank cracked 4/23- no engines until 9/23 (remanufactured non mopar but still...

Think the hpfp will be available soon in 2024. But i have waited for 10 months total for a engine under warranty and a second replacement engine only 3 weeks apart. Some of engines shipped were bad mid summer. Quality control in Italy must be terrible. A new shipment coming in January. Cranks...
Try to get a loaner from dealership or rent a car. I would not expect dealership to fix it quick or for jeep stelantis to apologize. If engine is bad you may be waiting for months. I am on my 2nd replacement engine after waiting for months and only 53000miles. Pathetic. New shipment coming...
The replacement engines also bad. as above allthe crankshafts are bad (metal or forged process). After 2 weeks after 5 months of waiting the replacement (2nd) engine failed. then I believe the 3rd possibly failed in the shop but not being clear with me. and now wait for weeks for the 3rd or...
The app used to be a good place to store oil changes but mopar/jeep discontinued to most of mine were lost but i screenshotted them and was needed for warranty proof of oil changes but i also had receipts for oil and oil filter.
Agree with the bad engineering and R and D. Just heard from dealership Pump may finally be made early Jan per my local dealership. We all should get ecodiesel 3 with whater modifications were needed to make it fit and run on jeeps gc or rams or buyback for all these failures for sure. Ill at...
They know why they are failing but just dont seem to care taking the cheaper route. They are not telling dealership this is how we are beefing up crank or making improvements . At a minimum they should be putting in a stronger crank. Tell them that some dealerships are using US engines in Ny as...
Same here. 2018. 52000 miles best oil no towing ect. Failed. That date will keep getting pushed 30 days then 60 then 90 then no date for a while. Been in shop from 4/23 to 9/23. Finally got it back with new engine under warranty!! Mopar had no replacement new engines, then was told they...
If you have to pay or wait on your own this guy seems to have a good plan but if your truck is in the shop you may not be able to use the above route but i like what this guy is upgrading. If not under warranty and least you may be able to keep your engine and send to this guy or as a core maybe??
Sounds similar to mine everything you said. Hopefully not far from home. Mine was on way to work not a far trip thankfully . Class action has to be close. I am getting no where just waiting under warranty for replacement engine. No delivery date for engine.
I agree and i meant fix the crank before it goes bad being. Some must be good because not all fail amazingly.

Says will rebuild and fix issues for around 7-8000$.
Saw a video of a guy from TN that rebuilds then and says line bore is off so crank is flexing so people spin bearings, rod bearings fail, ect. But says of you line bore and make sure crank is good then you will be set. Some talk about tac welding cams that can break free and mess with engine...
Reading all these forums. It has to be the highest failure rate of any engine in past 20 years of any manufacturer. Just completely unacceptable on a $55000-60000 plus vehicle especially a diesel.
