Just an update. I called FCA and they said that the ERG cooler was listed as an item covered under a 36K warranty only. NOT covered under the 8 tear 80K warranty. The dealer/FCA were nice enough to charge me MUCH less than the stated $2700 regular price though.
As I posted earlier, at 39,000 miles my 2017 RAM needs a new EGR cooler. Dealer says not covered, but wouldn't this be part of the power train, which extends to 80,000?
I'm brand new to the forum. Bought A 2017 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. Like it, BUT at 39,000 miles the check engine light, and service throttle body module message popped up. (In Chicago area, -10 degrees out) Called the dealer, made an appointment, and the next day the exhaust filter 100% full light...
