This filter is out of my 2014 Grand cherokee. The owners manual says change it at 20,000 and that's what it looked like. On my Ram 2500 commins I've been changing it every 3 mounts and they are dark but not black. Just wondering if I'm getting bad fuel. I've never had water in it. Just the dark...

Is it normal for a fuel filter be black when its changed? Mine are always black. Do I need to find a new place to get fuel.

Has anyone replaced there capless fuel door with one from geno's. The green fuel cap. If so did you have to take out the little flapper thing to get it on? I got one for my Grand cherokee and it doesn't fit.

My wife does mostly express way driving 70-80 mph. We did take it on a trip up north 55-60 mph and the instant mpg was reading 35-40 . When I hand calculated that tank I got 31.5. Speed does play a big part. When I get some miles on it I hope it does better.

Just get her to drive one. They are super nice. It rides and drives so nice she will be thanking you for it.

Thanks guys I will keep you updated with everything on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee ECO Diesel. So far 10,000 miles 1 oil change and 1 tank of DEF . 27-28 mpg and averaging 26.3 so far all is great.
