It's Official! EGR Recall notice to me from NHTSA

Honestly, I would talk to a lawyer. I just don’t see how they could deny you a recall! Technically, It’s not warranty work for the EGR RECALL! It’s a fire hazard. keep calling the 800number for FCA and tell them you did nothing wrong! Ask to speak to a manager at FCA.

It's Official! EGR Recall notice to me from NHTSA

It’s a recall that has nothing to do with the fuel filter. Go to a different dealer! Call FCA! If they don’t help you, you’ve got a great lawsuit coming...talk to a lawyer for free! They will tell you!

It's Official! EGR Recall notice to me from NHTSA

If you’re coolant is leaking from the cracked EGR cooler, then it’s getting vaporized and sucked into your intake manifold. If you have a stage 1 tune without the EGR removed, you’re probably pushing less vapors into your intake manifold but you’re still at risk for a fire. Read what the recall...

Cleaned map sensor and egr tube wow!

{edited} Actually I saw they make a MAF sensor cleaner. I have not found a specific MAP sensor cleaner. A Napa article says to use electric parts cleaner. Other articles say electric parts cleaner, non-chlorinated brake cleaner, and yet some articles said carb cleaner is fine. I'm still...

Cleaned map sensor and egr tube wow!

What did you use to clean the MAP sensor? Non-chlorinated brake cleaner, carb cleaner, electrical parts cleaner, or something else? I ask because I was just told by SofaKingTuned to do this so, I'm curious what you used.

Getting a required update via Uconnect: update just fails

they finally updated www.driveuconnect.com with version 18.45 for my 2016 Ram 1500. Whenever I typed in my VIN it kept telling me I was up to date (17.43.01). When I tried yesterday, I could download the newest version and get past this stupid issue without going to the deal-whore for an...

Getting a required update via Uconnect: update just fails

THANKS! for the 2016 Ram, I found my radio fuse in the same spot. I could see some dumb engineers arguing over where to put that fuse! Engineer A: There's plenty of empty slots in the fuse box. Engineer B: But an in-line fuse all the way back by the power brake booster and firewall where you...

Getting a required update via Uconnect: update just fails

Stupid question...where the heck is the radio fuse on a 2016 Ram 1500? There is nothing in the owners manual or within the diagram on the Fuse box. What the heck is that about? I am pretty sure my radio is up to date because I upgraded it via the USB port when I updated my Maps last month...

Getting a required update via Uconnect: update just fails

THANKS! I'm gonna try to pull the fuse on the radio tomorrow! SO ANNOYING. Every few days, this message has been popping up to update and it fails! I would take it to the dealer but my bumper-to-bumper warranty is done. Or are they fixing this for free?

    Hey New Jersey guys

My ecodiesel doesn't need to be inspected in NJ until 2021. So, when I took my wife's car for inspection, I asked them what do they do for a diesel car or lightweight truck under 8500 lbs? They told me I should bring it in the when the inspection sticker is due but I still have no idea if they...
