    Don't hold me to it, but I recall 10mm head bolts.... was 2 yrs ago and I can't remember what I had for breakfast today, so...............................

    It is super complicated....... You need to remove 4 bolts, unplug the ECM, plug in the new one, replace bolts and drive it until the regen finishes. It's on the passenger side under the airbox towards the firewall.

    GDE tune is CA compliant ;) and California Diesel SMOG is every 2 years regardless...... Trust me I know 1st hand.

    +1 for the GDE software EGR delete, it's just a matter of giving them your injector and vin info, they program a new ECM, you swap and send the old one back. While not cheap, it all but guarantees engine longevity.
