i did try to remove the plate but to no avail...
had this error pop up saturday afternoon leaving the house, no check engine light, no codes, just SETC error. ill try to make this short as possible....

did you have a tune/delete?
did you have to get any additional tune once the butterfly valve was removed?
did you simply remove the 2 screws and the plate that were attached to the shaft?
it looks like all the port openings are 2.5" on the turbo, intercooler, intake manifold. is there any issue going with a 2.5" pipe kit? if a 3" kit is better, what makes it better? does anyone have any links to kits they would recommend? the afe kit is more than i am wanting to spend.
will any aftermarket tune allow for crank case vent to atmosphere tube? or is that something that has to be written into each tune as a separate variable?
after removing the EGR actuator and the vacuum line, what if anything needs to be done to the nipple on the solenoid? is it supposed to be left open, or should it be capped off with a rubber nip cap?
